Toronto, Ontario – February 8, 2012

For the second year in a row, Edmonton-based systems integration firm Cybertech has been named one of the “Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada”. In a study performed by Hewitt and the Queens University School of Business, the Cybertech Group of Companies again achieved top marks for employee engagement – further establishing the organization as an employer of choice in Canada. The official announcement will appear in the March 2012 issue of PROFIT Magazine.

“We’re honoured to be recognized a second time by the Top 50 Best Small & Medium Employer List,” says Mike Palamarek, P.Eng., Director at Cybertech. “Being a repeat winner is amazing, The Cybertech Group of Companies has grown significantly in the past year and it is nice to see our staff has continued to vote Cybertech Automation, Cybertech Industrial Software and Cybertech Electric as great places to work.”

Cybertech was one of hundreds of companies across Canada that took part in the 2012 survey process by responding to questions that focus primarily on employee engagement. According to Aon Hewitt’s definition, employee engagement is a measure of how positively employees feel about their employer, how likely they are to remain with that company, and how committed they are to doing their utmost to help the company achieve success. Cybertech was evaluated in the Small to Medium Employers category which spans the nation and covers organizations having between 50 and 399 employees.
