Edmonton, Alberta – January 14, 2014
Aon Hewitt and the Queen’s University School of Business has named Edmonton-based systems integration firm Cybertech one of the “Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada” for the fourth year in a row. It’s also the second year that Cybertech has been ranked #7 in the country.
“Our focus on ‘why we do business’ continues to resonate with both clients and staff. We’re extremely proud to be nationally recognized at #7 in Canada for the second year in a row and for the fourth year in the Top 50”, says Mike Palamarek, Director at Cybertech. “As we grow both Cybertech Automation and Cybertech Industrial Software, our continued high BSME ranking is great feedback that we are on the right track for our staff and our clients.”
Cybertech was one of hundreds of companies across Canada that took part in the 2014 survey process by responding to questions that focus primarily on employee engagement. Aon Hewitt defines employee engagement as a measure of how positively employees feel about their employer, how likely they are to remain with that company and how committed they are to doing their utmost to help the company achieve success.
The Top 50 Best Small & Medium Employers category covered organizations having between 50 and 399 employees. More information about the study is available online at http://business.queensu.ca/centres/qcbv/bsme/bsme50.php.
