Edmonton, Alberta – (Marketwire- August 19, 2013)
The Cybertech Group of Companies is pleased to announce that effective July 1st, 2013 its i-GEN Solutions subsidiary has been re-named to Cybertech Industrial Software. The new name better aligns the industrial software company, which has been a part of the Cybertech group of companies for over a decade, under the Cybertech brand name.
Aaron Boucher, Director of Cybertech Industrial Software, commented on the name change saying, “i-GEN has been growing its reputation and products for many years at arm’s length from its parent organization. Changing the name simply helps us re-align with and improve our connection to the overall Cybertech Group of Companies. The only effect on clients and our business should be that we can now more efficiently present services extending from Cybertech Automation and Cybertech Electric.”
Cybertech Industrial Software creates enterprise-wide intelligence through innovative products oriented around the connection to, processing and presentation of data coming from Process or Production environments. In recent years, Cybertech/i-GEN has gained notoriety for its opLYNX software, which Alberta Oil and Gas producers use for the optimization and integration of data flowing to and from the field.
