Shell Canada’s Quest Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project has been recognized by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) with their prestigious Environment and Sustainability Award.
Quest has reduced emissions from Shell’s Scotford Upgrader by roughly 35 per cent since becoming operational in 2015 – injecting more than 1.5 million tonnes of CO2 into the ground.
As the main automation contractor for Quest (within the Scotford Upgrader scope in addition to pipeline/injection well controls and automation), Cybertech is proud of our involvement with the project. We congratulate the Quest team on this latest recognition of their hard work.
