Cybertech Automation Acquires Certificate of Recognition (COR) from Alberta Construction Safety Association

Edmonton, Alberta – September 15, 2011

Cybertech Automation is pleased to announce the acquisition of its Certificate of Recognition (COR) from the Alberta Construction Safety Association. The certificate recognizes months of hard work by Cybertech management and employees in developing, learning and following new procedures to improve workplace safety.

What is COR?

  • COR is a Certificate of Recognition indicating the employer has implemented a health and safety program that is compliant with the standards established by the province and certified associations (Alberta Construction Safety Association, Alberta Safety Council, Enform and other certifying partners).

Why is it important?

  • Effective health and safety management systems have been shown to have an impact on reducing injuries. Eliminating the social and financial effects of injuries will hopefully enhance our competitive advantage while keeping our workers safe.
  • Increasingly, clients require COR certification and compliance from vendors to reduce their exposure to liability and enhance overall workplace safety. Cybertech is proud to bring this additional peace of mind to our partners.
  • COR certification demonstrates Cybertech’s commitment to the safety of not only our employees – but also yours. Certification was a robust process of reviewing practices, making improvements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards via a third party audit.

By achieving COR certification, Cybertech continues to position itself as a service provider committed to being safe, reliable and easy to do business with. Cybertech adds COR certification to its previous registration with ISNetworld, a global resource for connecting corporations with safe, reliable contractors/suppliers. ISNetworld collects self-reported safety conformance information from vendors, verifies its accuracy, and then reports to participating client organizations.
